Georgia Parent Survey
We need your help completing the Georgia Parent Survey created by the Georgia Department of Education (GDOE). The Georgia Parent Survey was developed to measure parent perceptions of the school climate. Your survey responses are confidential and will be combined with the survey responses of other Bolton Academy parents to identify areas in need of improvement. It should only take ten or fifteen minutes to complete the survey. You, the parent, play an important role in supporting student achievement and contributing to the school’s success. Your opinion is very important to us and we appreciate your participation! The survey will be open until March 17. You can click HERE to take the survey.
IB Mentors Needed
A Message from Mr. White
Thank you to our parents and community members that joined me via Zoom yesterday to learn more about volunteering for our IB Exhibition. We need volunteers to mentor our 5th graders and support them as they prepare their culmination project. You do not need to be a 5th-grade parent to volunteer. If you missed the meeting, but want to learn more please complete this short form HERE.
Order Your Yearbook Today
We are excited to announce that in partnership with the PTA, Bolton Academy will have a yearbook this year! The yearbook will include your child’s individual photo and photos from some of our biggest events! You can pre-purchase your yearbook HERE. Yearbooks will have a hardcover, cost $35, and will be distributed in May. We also plan to offer a limited number of pages for sale for 5th-grade congratulatory messages and local businesses. We will share more information about how to purchase these ads soon.
We look forward to starting this new Bolton tradition and hope you will support us!
Focus Group Opportunity- $50
We still have a few slots open if you are interested in joining this Friday or Saturday!
Do you want to help support your child’s empathy, problem-solving, and self-control? In partnership with New York University and the University of Texas at Austin, the Committee for Children is developing new materials for parents to support each child’s social and emotional development. Join other Bolton Academy K-5 parents in a 90-minute focus group to provide your thoughts on these materials. We would love to hear from you about what you think is needed and how we can improve this resource! Focus groups are available in-person on March 17 and/or 18. Parents who participate will get $50 as a thank you so sign up soon! You can review the time slots and sign up HERE. Spots will be filled on a first-come-first-served basis. Please contact Samara Trindade at st2745@nyu.edu with any questions. Thank you!

Are you an Atlanta Public Schools family? See THE BOY WHO KISSED THE SKY for free during spring break, April 2-8. Inspired by the early life and influences of musical icon Jimi Hendrix, this new family musical inspires us to dream big when it matters most. You can click HERE and enter your cluster’s promo code NORTHATL at checkout to reserve your tickets. Limit six tickets per family. This opportunity is sponsored by the Zeist Foundation.
Lost and Found
We have run out of hangers! Our fabulous volunteer Ms. Parks delivered over 20 labeled items to classrooms yesterday. We will be donating all items on Friday, March 31 so please watch the video HERE to see if you are missing any items!
