Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the entire Soaring Heights staff, we hope you have a safe and relaxing spring break.  Please use this time to recharge to ensure we are poised to finish up the year in a strong fashion.  The break is also a good time to revisit goals set during conferences and to prioritize areas for improvement.  We are very proud of your child’s accomplishments and look forward to a terrific end of the year. We encourage students to participate in the MyOn Reading Challenge (details listed below).

We have had an exciting couple weeks with many celebrations.  We are pleased to announce that 8 Soaring Heights robotics teams will be heading to the World competition in April. These 8 teams represent 25% of the teams coming from our district as a whole. 1st and 2nd grades put on wonderful performances.  We had students selected to attend the district and state honor band / orchestra / choir performances.  Our wrestling team completed the season with incredible results at the district tournaments with multiple 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes.

Please mark your calendar for important dates including: CMAS testing (grades 3-8) April 10-21 with make-up the following week, Innovation Night May 18, Continuation Ceremonies (Kindergarten May 25, 5th grade May 24, and 8th grade May 24).

We look forward to seeing everyone after Spring Break.

Best wishes,

Cyrus Weinberger, Principal
Meghan Quirk, Assistant Principal
Krystal Trinkler, Dean
