First HS President Honoured

On February 27, 2023, Heritage Saskatchewan's first President, Kristin Enns-Kavanagh, was honoured at Government House. She was presented with the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal by His Honour, the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan, the Honourable Russ Mirasty.  See our Board page for more information & photos!

Reconciliation Survey

Do you live in Humboldt or the Humboldt area? We need your help! Heritage Saskatchewan and the City of Humboldt and hosting a survey about reconciliation as part of our ongoing project “Relationship Building & Reconciliation Through Living Heritage”. If you live in or near Humboldt please take 5-10 minutes and fill in our short survey. The survey closes March 21st.

Project Submission Opening Soon!
Our Heritage Fairs and High School Heritage Challenge now have their own website. We anticipate it being ready on Monday, March 20! The new website will accept new submissions for the Virtual Heritage Fair and High School Heritage Challenge!

Project Submission Deadline
April 24 (last Monday in April) - deadline to submit projects to the Virtual Heritage Fair and High School Heritage Challenge
Everyone in grades 4-12 is eligible to participate! No advance registration is necessary and no whole-class participation is required. There is still lots of time to create a project for the Virtual Fair or High School Heritage Challenge!
All schools participating in the Moose Jaw Regional Heritage Fair have been contacted about registration deadlines specific to that event.
