Announcements

• The application for the Fall 23/Spring 24 International Exchange opportunities is now open. 
• The deadline to apply for 23-23 International Exchange Program is Mar 24 and decisions will be sent out on Mar 27.
• All programs are 10 units and you must have completed core by the time of departure. 
• More information about each program and the application process can be found on the International Exchange Program website. 

• The Program Office and other campus departments will be closed on Friday Mar 31 in observance of Cesar Chavez Day.

Class of 2025

• Blue & Gold: Combined Cohort Day on Monday Mar 27, N100.
• Axe & Oski: No Class on Saturday Apr 1.

• Things to note:
  • Evening Core starts the week of Jul 24.
  • Weekend Core starts Aug 6.
  • Lux Core starts Aug 8.
  • Saturday Electives start Aug 19.
  • Evening Electives start the week of Aug 21.
  • Core Fall Break: Oct 2-7
• All final exams must be taken at the scheduled date and time. Some Core courses may be scheduled as combined cohort exams.

Class of 2023

• Students eligible to attend WE Lead should be on the lookout for an email entitled "[EWMBA] WE Lead 2023 Registration" for important details and deadlines for WE Lead 2023!

2023 Commencement

• Students should have received an email on Mar 9 with corrected links to the nominations forms for Commencement Awards and Student Speaker.
• Please open and read the email for key deadlines, and directions on nominations.
  • If you have any further questions, please contact Avni Kansara or Mika Burstein.

• Students set to graduate in May 2023 may have received another email from UC Berkeley titled "Commencement registration and tickets now live!"
• That email is regarding tickets for the University-wide commencement for all UC Berkeley students at Memorial Stadium!
  • This is separate from the FT and EW ceremony on Friday May 19. 
  • Review the MBA Commencement 2023 Ceremony details for ticket info specifically for the MBA ceremony. MBAs are welcome to attend both ceremonies if they wish.

• The Haas Wine Speaker Series is a long-standing tradition at Haas put on by the Haas Wine Club. Wine Industry experts will speak on various aspects of the wine industry from grape to glass over 7 weeks.
• A limited number of seats were reserved for EW students. You will be contacted to confirm your ability to attend.

• AI Entrepreneurs at Berkeley and Entrepreneurs @ Berkeley will be hosting a fireside chat on the future of Generative AI and Venture Capital.
• Speakers will include Sandhya Hegde, General Partner at Unusual Ventures and ex-Sequoia Investor, and Professor Gasper Begus, a leading researcher and professor in NLP and Generative AI.

• Mitch Grossman, MBA 06, Senior Vice President, and Jackson Family Wines, the nation's ninth largest wine company, features a welcome talk by a C-level executive highlighting the company's sustainability initiatives, a guided tour of the lush gardens and demonstration vineyard, and a paired wine-and-cheese tasting. 
• The event will conclude with gourmet appetizers from award-winning Executive Chef Tracey Shepos Cenami, and exclusive Estate wines.

  • Please remove your shoes and place them on the rack inside the door when entering.
  • What this room is:
    • A silent prayer room
    • A multi-faith room
    • A silent meditation room (might not be suitable for a group using guided meditation)
  • What this room is not:
    • A study space
    • A place to eat or drink
    • A place to hangout
    • A place where you use electronics (no phones/phone calls)
    • An exercise or yoga room
