Canadian Goblins go to war

Last week brought a silent revolution at Slitherine. There was a time, a long time ago in gaming history, when pronouncing the word “free” in any meeting was forbidden by law. The finance ranger would jump out of the bushes and arrest anyone daring to say the adjective. It was a time when discounting games was a last resort trick to revive sales, a time when day one revenue was the only chance for a game’s success. I had slightly more hair, working from home wasn’t even a possibility, and the Warriors were still playing at the Oracle Arena.
