March was a busy month for ETP4HPC! On March 8-9 we had the ETP4HPC Conference and General Assembly, with the election of a new Steering Board. Then the EuroHPC Summit saw the European HPC Community converge to Gothenburg, and our two sessions were well attended. And there is more to come: in May we'll be at ISC and at Teratec Forum, plan to visit us!

ETP4HPC 2023 Conference and General Assembly

Our members enjoyed having a full day dedicated to presentations of interest to our community, and the networking dinner was an opportunity for lively exchanges between members. Our new members were particularly happy to make new friends! We were delighted to welcome as keynote speakers Dr. Gustav Kalbe, Acting Director for Digital Excellence and Science Infrastructure at DG CNECT, and Anders Jensen, Executive Director at EuroHPC JU. Destination Earth at the ETP4HPC Conference

ETP4HPC invited Peter Bauer, Director for Destination Earth at ECMWF for a keynote talk. He gave an overview of DestinE, why extreme-scale computing and data handling matter and how previous EC digital technology investments helped prepare for DestinE. He also updated the audience about the partnership agreement between ECMWF and ETP4HPC for developing a strategic technology agenda for ECMWF digital twins in the frame of DestinE. [+]

EuroHPC Summit 2023

All attendees will tell you: the EuroHPC Summit 2023 was a great success! Despite the rainy weather in Göteborg, the atmosphere at the Summit was warm and friendly. The varied programme of plenary conferences and parallel sessions was much appreciated.
Our two sessions were well-attended. The Emerging Technologies session was held in the plenary room and highlighted some of the work done by our experts for the SRA 5 [+]

And we will have a BoF in partnership with ICHEC ETP4HPC tackling Quantum: HPC-QC software stack developments for hybrid systems and applications [+]

ETP4HPC at Teratec Forum

31 May - 1st June, Parc Floral de Paris

In 2023 the Teratec Forum is moving to Paris and turns into a year-round event: the traditional conference and exhibition on 31 May and 1st June is complemented by 3 thematic online sessions on 20 April, 28 September and 9 November.

What does not change is that ETP4HPC will exhibit at Teratec Forum. We hope to meet you there! [+]
