The first event in this year's "2 Peaks-1 Book" Community book read will be the showing of the original Swedish (subtitled) version of the film "A Man Called Ove". This critically acclaimed movie is funny, touching and unforgettable as the life of a grumpy old man changes when a young family moves in next door and the events that brought him to the place in life are revealed. Join us at 2:00 pm on Thursday March 16th at LVPL for this heartwarming film. We also have copies of the novel available for you to read before our book discussion slated for March 30th. After three years, the Tell Aviv University archaeological project returns to Southern Israel's ancient mines with an international team of experts and volunteers to seek answers and insights. Come hear about how the interdisciplinary approach has yielded a better understanding of the site, but has also uncovered exciting new mysteries.

Give your little ones the best start with “The Basics” (Free lunch, too!)
Five workshops meeting one Wednesday per month for parents and caregivers of young children on The Basics, science-based tenets that support social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from birth to age three. We are scheduled to meet on the Wednesdays listed below and appreciate those that are able to RSVP for any or all of the sessions. This will allow us to have enough materials brought over. We are also providing lunch for each session. Please know that an RSVP is NOT REQUIRED just appreciated.
