Recap of "Where Do We Go From Here" Event at The Experience Christian Center - March 3rd, 2023
March 3rd - Where Do We Go From Here
With a rise in crime and a need for solutions the Pine Hills Community Council, Inc., partnered with the Experience Christian Center and the United Foundation of Central Florida to engage in a follow-up conversation to workshop our collective experiences to generate sustainable solutions that impact the Greater Pine Hills Community. This dialogue engaged our student population, parents, teachers, community leaders, clergy members, business owners, and elected officials. The council would like to thank State Representative LaVon Bracy Davis (District 40) & State Senator Geraldine Thompson (District 15) for providing their legislative updates at our meeting
Student Scholarship & Award Opportunity
May 12th - Student Civic Engagement Award
Application Deadline: May 5th, 2023, scholarship recipients will be notified no later than June 1st. 

May 12th - The Tulie Phillips Scholarship
Application Deadline: May 12th, 2023, end of 4th Grading Period

The Pine Hills Seniors meet every Thursday of the month from 10 AM - 1 PM at the Pine Hills Community Center, 6408 Jennings Rd, Orlando, Fl 32818 "Building B".  
April 13th - Pine Hills Safe Neighborhood Partnership Meeting

Barnett Park Thursday, April 13th, 2023 at 6 PM
The PHSNP will host its monthly meeting at Barnett Park in the Marlin Room. Barnett Park Recreation Center is located at 4801 W. Colonial Drive.
 
April 8th - Grand Opening: Barnett Park Skate Park

Orange County Government - Skate Park Grand Opening - April 8th, 2023 
📅 Save the date: Barnett Park's new skate park is open! Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District 6 Commissioner Mike Scott will celebrate this new amenity with a ribbon cutting on Saturday, April 8, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Barnett Park, 4801 W. Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32808. Stop in for an afternoon of fun, including free food, music, giveaways and more until 1 p.m.!
