World Scholars
The World Scholar's Cup is an international competition, where students from many corners of the world can learn about anything from archaeological discoveries to the history of journalism, and anything in between, as well as form friendships and obtain stuffed alpacas. Students from both St. John Bosco and St. Joseph High Schools are eligible to sign up to participate in the Los Angeles Regional Round, occurring at La Salle College Preparatory High School from April 29-30, 2023. Students who join and qualify for the round are able to attend a Global Round, which can occur in various cities around the world. The final round is the Tournament of Champions, which is held at Yale University in November.
If your son/daughter is interested in competing or you would like more information either go to socalscholars.live for program and calendar information, send an email to acadecawsc@gmail.com, or you could send a whatsapp message to Ms Gutierrez at (323) 821-9579.
Athletic Training Request
Dear Parent of Highschool Student Athlete/s:
Hello, my name is Garth Verdegaal and I am a Masters student at the California State University of Long Beach. As part of my graduate program, I am conducting research to understand the perspective and knowledge about Athletic Trainers from the point of view of Parents at the HighSchool setting.
I am recruiting parents of student athletes within the entire state of California and would greatly appreciate it if you took the time to complete the survey attached to this email. Participation in the study will take about 10 to 15 minutes and is completely voluntary. Confidentiality of all participants will be maintained and there will be no identifiable data associated with those who choose to participate. Any questions regarding the study can be directed to me, Garth Verdegaal at garthverdegaal@gmail.com.
