The City's long-awaited priority-setting session is returning to City Hall tomorrow, March 18th from 10am to 2pm. Details on how to attend/participate are on page one of the agenda packet here. As outlined in the staff report, the meeting will include the following topics:
Welcome and call the meeting to order
Public comment
Comments from the City Manager
Review today’s agenda
Discuss principles of governance
Introduction and context for priority setting discussions
Discuss and establish top priorities for fiscal year 2023-24
Wrap up and next steps
While public comment will be taken, it is likely that speaking time will be limited to allow Council sufficient time to have a robust discussion. In addition to speaking at tomorrow's meeting, members of the pubic were invited to submit feedback ahead of time via a dedicated web form. Feedback received included 392 separate comment submissions that have been read, sorted and will be presented at tomorrow's meeting. If you missed the submission cut-off, you can always send an email to the entire City Council at city.council@menlopark.gov. (Note that emails received will not make it into the presentation of results to City Council, though councilmembers will do their best to read emails and consider feedback.)
Thank you in advance for engaging in the civic process.
