friend, making your own bone broth or stock is easier than you think. Stop buying it @ the store and you’ll wonder why you haven’t been doing this all along.

What’s the difference between bone broth & stock anyway?

Stock is made by simmering pre-cooked bones in water. Bone broth is a stock made using bones with extra marrow & connective tissue and cooking it extra long to extract the collagen (protein & minerals). You’ll know it’s bone broth by the signature jelly-like consistency when cooled, a stock will remain liquid.

What can I use stock for?

I use it all the time in things like…

◽Rice or risotto

◽Soup or stew

◽Pho or Ramen *someday*

◽Deglazing pans

◽Making pan sauces, including cheese sauce

💥Stock and broth can be used interchangeably in most recipes

Why make your own stock?

✔More affordable

✔No preservatives

✔Control the salt content & flavor

If you know me, you know I’m all for homemade but I’m out on long, complicated, time intensive recipes.🙅‍♀️

If I can do this, so can you.

(The slow cooker or pressure cooker will do all the work!)

How much stock does it make?

Here’s my favorite part…

💥 Yields the equivalent of 3-4 boxes of store bought stock (~12 c)
