An important message from Dr. Meghan McDonough, #NASPSPA2023 Conference Chair

Dear NASPSPA community,

We appreciate everyone’s enthusiasm for our upcoming conference in Toronto. We had a total of 404 abstracts submitted this year. The review process was led by our Area Program Chairs (Motor Learning and Control – Kristina Neeley; Sport and Exercise Psychology – Leps Malete; Motor Development – Janet Hauck) and their committees. We thank them for their effort on this monumental task.

To find out the decision(s) for your abstract/symposium submission(s), please go to the NASPSPA website, click “My Account” on the right side of the toolbar, sign in, and the decision will appear in a notification box on that page. Only the accept/reject decision will be shown.

The conference planning committee will begin working on the program in the coming weeks and you will be notified when the format (poster or verbal) for your accepted abstract is available. Details on the requirements for verbal and poster presentations will be posted on the website when the program is complete and decisions about format are provided.

As you prepare for the conference, register for the conference now to get early bird prices until March 15, and book hotel rooms. There are limited rooms left at the hotel, so we encourage you to book soon. Information on registration and hotels, along with other information about the conference and travel to Toronto is available on the NASPSPA website.

Regards,
Meghan McDonough
Past President, Conference Chair
