AACHI at a Glance
Currently, AACHI is serving 252 clients across our 6 communities.
With the support of our Community Health Navigators (CHNs), 87% of our clients maintained or were enrolled in health insurance / coverage options.
12/9/22 - Annual flu shot event targeting Burmese, Nepali, Korean, and Vietnamese communities. 33 patients were present, with 18 receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and 26 receiving the flu shot.
1/15/2023 - Women-focused event in partnership between NAMCC, AACHI and Integral Care. Clients learned more about mental health, particularly regarding PTSD, depression and anxiety.
1/28/23 - Korean Senior Banquet for Lunar New Year. AACHI provided COVID-19 outreach and PPE supplies for 100 seniors.
1/29/23 - VACAT Annual Tết Event where AACHI's Vietnamese Community Health Navigators performed outreach, COVID-19 education, and provided PPE supplies and lucky money envelopes for hundreds of attendees.
3/26/23 - Collaboration with Open Eyes Beyond Border to provide community members with free eye exams and COVID-19 test kits at Austin Temple of Cao Đài.
