Aimee James, PhD, MPH and Graham A. Colditz, MD, DrPH  were recognized by the AACR for their research article "Rural-Urban Differences in Cancer Incidence and Trends in the United States.” Published in the November 2018 issue of Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers & Prevention (CEBP), it has been selected for the CEBP Frederick P. Li Impact Award. 

Graham A. Colditz, MD, DrPH and Hank Dart, MS have a chapter published in the Encyclopedia of Human Nutrition (Fourth Edition): Cancer: Epidemiology and associations between diet and cancer."


Bailey Martin-Giacalone has received a Geographic Management of Cancer Health Disparities Program (GMaP) travel award for presenting her poster at the American Society for Preventive Oncology Annual Meeting in San Diego, happening March 12-14. Other authors include: Erin Linnenbringer, MS, PhD, Sarah Humble, MS, and Ying Liu, MD, PhD.

Eric Wiedenman has accepted an Implementation Scientist position in the Office of Lifelong Learning and Physician Learning Program, in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta.
