Fall 2023 Academic Calendar
  • The Fall 2023 Academic Calendar is available on the EWMBA home page.
  • Please be sure to review these dates before making any travel plans.
  • Things to note:
    • Evening Core starts the week of Jul 24.
    • Weekend Core starts Aug 6.
    • Lux Core starts Aug 8.
    • Saturday Electives start Aug 19.
    • Evening Electives start the week of Aug 21.
    • Core Fall Break: Oct 2-7
  • All final exams must be taken at the scheduled date and time. Some Core courses may be scheduled as combined cohort exams.

  • Mitch Grossman, MBA 06, Senior Vice President, and Jackson Family Wines, the nation's ninth largest wine company, features a welcome talk by a C-level executive highlighting the company's sustainability initiatives, a guided tour of the lush gardens and demonstration vineyard, and a paired wine-and-cheese tasting. 
  • The event will conclude with gourmet appetizers from award-winning Executive Chef Tracey Shepos Cenami, and exclusive Estate wines.

Values in Action Assessment

  • In this workshop, we will be going over the report for your Values In Action assessment ("VIA"). We are providing free of charge for you. Make sure to use your @berkeley email to register.
  • Knowing your VIA character strengths can help you find values-based language to include in your stories. Click here for examples of VIA Stories
  • Research reveals that people who recognize and use their top strengths every day are:
    • 3x more likely to report having an excellent quality of life
    • 6x more likely to be engaged at work

  • The MBA Prayer & Meditation room is available again, in C122 (1st floor of Cheit). To request access, please complete the EWMBA Prayer & Meditation Room Access Code Request Form.
  • Here are our MBA Prayer & Meditation Room Guidelines:
    • Please remove your shoes and place them on the rack inside the door when entering.
    • What this room is:
      • A silent prayer room
      • A multi-faith room
      • A silent meditation room (might not be suitable for a group using guided meditation)
    • What this room is not:
      • A study space
      • A place to eat or drink
      • A place to hangout
      • A place where you use electronics (no phones/phone calls)
      • An exercise or yoga room
