MARCH NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Thank you for being loyal readers of the LDT newsletter. Over the past 5 years it has been a great way for us to connect with our community.  In fact, the newsletter has proven to be our best and most reliable touchpoint -- one that always prompts calls, texts and emails with comments or questions about our market insights, food and fashion picks or our understated and tasteful humor (yeah, that last one for sure!). Whatever it is that brings you back, we are so thankful for your support through our personal and professional ups and downs.

The newsletter has evolved over time, we’ve had our hits and misses along the way, and we’ve learned from what worked and what didn’t. When we’ve been at a loss for words, we’ve asked, family, friends and clients to help us out. Who can forget when the LDT husbands, kids and dogs staged newsletter takeovers?!

This truly is a labor of love, and much time and effort is invested into each edition. Simply put, feeling the love from you, our people, makes it all worthwhile.

Please enjoy this walk down memory lane with us!

Best, Lauren

These cuties, who are almost ALL teens now (oy vey!), garnered a great response from our readers. They probably would not be so inclined to help us with a newsletter takeover these days, unless bribed with Starbucks.  😉
Not only did we let our kids take over our newsletter, we even handed over the reins to our husbands and titled it: MARRIAGE ADVICE. To this day, that was our most clicked subject line. Needless to say, we do not have any marriage advice.

This was our first ever house crush. SOLD in 2018 - it is still one of our favorites!

Our very own Meghan's house was our most clicked sneak peek! Listed at the height of the crazy COVID market in 2021, there were over 100+ people in attendance at the open house and 80+ showings. Loaded with charm and restored with love, it is easy to see why this special home was such a hit!

HOW'S SHERRY?

This is still one of the questions I consistently get asked.  Here is the response straight from the horse’s mouth from our November 2020 edition...

How easy is that? Apparently we all love Ina Gartner and her cookbooks!

So many readers told me based on this recommendation that they went out and bought this scrub. #influencer

Summer is coming! Time to grab one of these perfect waterproof bags.
THANKFUL FOR THESE TURKEYS!
No surprise to me, the newsletter dedicated to my two work wives was our best one yet.  This dynamic pair provides a fresh perspective — let’s be honest, they keep me in check — and they are just a lot of fun to work with.
APRIL 2019
For some reason, maybe it was the less personal nature of this newsletter or we the fact that we hadn't curated our list as well, this newsletter was not a hit!  As the years have gone by, I've trended towards writing from my heart.
