Volunteers bake a favorite fruit pie from their own recipe and bring it to the SPUR office. On 3.14, those delectable desserts are then delivered to local organizations fighting food insecurity. We're excited to share the return of the Fairy Godmother Project's Princess Boutique on April 1, to provide young women who couldn't otherwise afford them with a beautiful, gently-used formal dress for their school's prom. If you're over 18 and have a passion for fashion (or just want the opportunity to help a special young woman feel like a princess) become a fairy godmother and help clients pick a dress, shoes, and accessories for the big night or sign up to make minor alterations to the donated dresses to make every young woman in the program feel bibitty-bobbity-beautiful.
