"Jaron has worked very hard this year, his senior year, to be an exceptional student here at KEC. His attendance has improved and he has worked very hard academically. In my class, Jaron is a leader and leads by example by completing his work, participating in discussions, being on time to class, as well as being respectful to me and other classmates. This past week I noticed that Jaron stepped up and helped serve others while a staff member was out of the building. This meant preparing and serving food as well as cleaning up. This shows what great character Jaron has as well as a big heart! I am so proud to be Jaron's teacher!"

Ms. Luoma - Black History Month Doors Project
"I nominate Ms. Luoma and the Black History Month Project. She successfully led a group of students while teaching a full load of classes and gave up her planning period on numerous occasions to help monitor the students. This project was so successful and I was proud to share it with so many of my teacher friends at other schools who were astounded at both the pride in our school as well as the dedication to the project! Thanks Miss Luoma!"
