EMS PTSA in partnership with Studio East is proud to present Beauty and the Beast. Purchase your tickets online now through March 23 for $10. Tickets will also be available to purchase at the door, cash only.
Performances are on Friday, March 24, at 7 pm and Saturday, March 25, at 2 pm at Redmond High School’s Performing Arts Center. Concessions and actors’ gifts will also be sold before and after the show and during intermission for cash only. Small denominations preferred.
Our students have been very hard at work these past several weeks, so we hope you will come support them. Thank you, and enjoy the show!

Congratulations, Science Olympiad Club!
Evergreen Middle School PTSA is excited to share that our Science Olympiad Club placed third overall at the Washington Science Olympiad Northwest Regional Tournament held at Redmond High School on March 4! A total of 29 EMS students participated at regionals—congratulations to all of them!
EMS Team One earned a ranking of fourth place and are advancing to the state tournament in April! Congratulations to Our WSPTA Reflections Award Winner!
Evergreen Middle School's own Ankita Datta has received the Award of Excellence in the middle school division of the Reflections art program at the statewide level! Ankita's original film, "A Silent Soul," was selected for this honor after advancing from Evergreen's Reflections competition to the district-level Lake Washington PTSA Council round, where her entry was among the 60 winning selections that moved on to Washington State PTA judging. Congratulations, Ankita!

Brown Bear Car Wash Fundraiser
Keep your car shiny and clean while supporting our school! EMS PTSA is raising money by selling Brown Bear Car Wash tickets. Tickets cost just $12 each (the same price as at the car wash), and $9.50 of every ticket sold goes back to our school! All profits will support Evergreen programs and services such as staff grants, teacher stipends, staff appreciation, student planners, 8th grade celebration and so much more!

Three Evergreen students were among 38 LWSD students earning honors in the nationwide Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.

LWSD School Start Times Announced for '23-'24
Changes to school start and end times will take effect for the 2023-24 school year. Find the list of adjusted start and end times on LWSD's website. Evergreen Middle School will start at 7:50 am and end at 2:20 pm. The existing start and end times remain unchanged for the rest of the current 2022-23 school year.

Girl-Powered Robotics Workshop: March 25–26
The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation is hosting a two-day, weekend workshop in Kirkland for girls in grades 6–12 with limited or no experience in robotics. Participants will design and build a robot to play in a series of driving and programming challenges.

Helping Kids Build Skills Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Challenges are a fantastic opportunity for your child to learn decision-making skills. With your support, they can learn the basic skills of think, feel, and then act—key aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
