This Sunday | Mar 12

This Sunday Pastor John will lead us in exploring selections from Mark chapters 5 & 6

As you've no doubt heard by now we are combining our two services into one beginning this Sunday as we build momentum toward Easter. We'll come together for a single service on March 12 at 10 AM during which we will partake in the Lord's Supper together. We're also gathering for a pre-service prayer time at 9:15 AM each Sunday. This pre-service time of praise and prayer is open to everyone.

Following the 10 AM service this Sunday we're going to share in a time of food and fellowship together with a CP Connect Lunch. We're asking all who are willing and able to bring a crockpot of soup and/or chili to share. All are welcome, and if you can't bring anything, no problem!

There are more details below regarding all of the opportunities this weekend and beyond.

Service Time Change

In an effort to build momentum as we look toward Easter, we are combining our weekend services into a single service at 10 AM beginning the weekend of Sunday, March 12. This change will continue in the subsequent weeks that follow.

There are several opportunities for engagement (further details below) that are intentionally being included with this change, and we sincerely hope that you will participate in all of them.

*Note that March 12 is also the time change so don't forget to mark your calendars as we "spring ahead."

Pre-Service Prayer Time

One of the additional engagement opportunities that we're most excited about with the service time change is a pre-service prayer time. Each Sunday, at 9:15 AM, we will gather together in prayer as a body of believers.

This weekly time of prayer is open to everyone, and there is no need to bring anything other than yourself as we gather to pray together for our church and its leadership, our city, and our world. We will celebrate praise reports and also spend time in intercession on behalf of the requests brought by those in attendance.

We hope to see you each week at 9:15 AM prior the single, combined worship service at 10 AM beginning March 12.
CP Connect Lunch | March 12

Stick around after the 10 AM service on Sunday, March 12 for a CP Connect Lunch!

We're asking that all who are willing and able please bring a crockpot full of chili and/or soup to share. The church will provide everything else we need to round out the meal.

We hope to see you there for this time of food and fellowship. Everyone is welcome.
Hearing God Workshop | Apr 2

We've invited Pastor Anthony Moore from King's Church to share an exciting and important topic with us on Sunday, April 2 at 6 PM. Hearing God is a workshop in which Pastor Anthony will help us learn how to recognize and hear God's voice. Everyone is welcome!

About Anthony
Anthony Moore is the Associate Pastor of Pastoral and Prophetic Ministry at Kings Church. His strong desire is to see believers discover, and be activated in, all the ways that the Holy Spirit speaks. He very much loves to see people encounter the Holy Spirit in unmistakable ways and to see them fall in love with Jesus all over again for the first time.

Lent Bible Reading Plan

Crosspoint is officially on the YouVersion Bible App!

Once you have the YouVersion Bible app installed, simply follow the QR code above to find us and then choose "Set As My Church."

We're using the app during the season of Lent to read scripture together daily for 40 days as we prepare for Easter.

Our featured Lent reading plan began yesterday (Ash Wednesday) but it's not too late to participate if you haven't started yet.

Will you join us?

Giving

If you have not already picked up your 2022 giving receipts at the church they have been mailed to you. Look for them in your mailboxes in the coming days.

Because we serve a generous God, we believe that Christians should be the most generous people on the planet. As a church, it is the generosity of our people that allows us to keep moving ahead with our vision.

We're excited about the days ahead and are looking forward to serving alongside you in all the opportunities God has in store for us as a body of believers!
