Change the World
 
Who: All of ASU's innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.

What: Change the World is a celebration of student imagination, efforts, and achievements in making the world a better place. Students from all academic disciplines are generating ideas and developing solutions to change the world by improving lives locally, domestically, and internationally. The event will feature art displays, idea pitches, live performances, and solutions exhibits. Come see how fellow ASU students answered the question "How can I change the world?"


When: 3/15/2023, from 5 pm - 8 pm MST.

Where: Sun Devil Stadium

Why: This is a great event to showcase how students are changing the world and help connect students to local professionals to continue building their ventures.

VentureWell E-Team Program

Who: All of ASU's top student-led ventures and startups. 

What: The E-Team Program helps student teams kickstart their innovation through a powerful mix of grant funding and entrepreneurship training. Teams can unlock up to $25,000 to launch their ideas, and the VentureWell team works closely with each venture to explore possible pathways for their innovation as they advance through the VentureWell Accelerator. Venture Well has trained over 1,400 entrepreneurs in 500+ E-Teams, with over $740 million raised in follow-on funding!

When:
General Info Session 1: March 15, 2023, 1-2 pm ET

Why: The E-Team Grant Program helps student entrepreneurs to unlock up to $25,000 to launch their venture, receive sponsored training and workshops, connect with the E-Team network of mentors and investors, and gain national exposure and recognition.

Pitch In

Who: All of ASU's up-and-coming entrepreneurs looking to perfect their pitch.

What: Pitch In consists of two presenters, who each share their stories for 6 minutes. Then the community has 20 minutes to ask questions to provide each entrepreneur with the best resources to address the entrepreneur’s needs. The first question is always, “What can the Pitch In community do for you?” which reflects the supportive and collaborative nature of the Pitch In community. All events are hybrid, so you can join either virtually or in person in Peoria or Mesa.

When: Wednesday, March 22, 2023, 9 am- 10 am MST

Where: ASU at Mesa City Center or Online

Why: Pitch In is a great opportunity to learn how to perfect your pitch, connect with fellow entrepreneurs, and find a community with the resources to help you succeed.

Innovation Fest!

Who: All of ASU's up-and-coming innovators and entrepreneurs.

What: The Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Changemaker Central is hosting Innovation Fest, a conference for innovators and entrepreneurs. Attendees will engage in hands-on workshops and lectures focusing on the three stages (ideation, development, and execution/scaling) of entrepreneurship and innovation. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to attendees. 

When: Saturday, March 25 2023 9 am- 4 pm MST

Where: ASU Tempe Campus in the 
Memorial Union.

Why: Leaving this conference, you will have a better understanding of how to move forward with your idea/venture and push it to the next level!

Mayo Clinic and ASU MedTech Accelerator Pitch Competition

Who: All of ASU's innovators and entrepreneurs with MedTech interests.

What: Join us for the Mayo Clinic and ASU MedTech Accelerator Cohort 4 Pitch Competition! Founders and CEOs from each of our cohort companies will share their MedTech venture in a pitch-style competition. After the Q&A, our panel judges will convene to decide on our competition winner! A cocktail hour will immediately follow.

When: Wednesday, March 29, 2023, 2 - 6 pm MST

Where: ASU Health Futures Center 

Why: Come see ASU's current MedTech ventures pitch their innovative ideas and learn how to improve your pitching skills.

STC Entrepreneurial Fellowships

Who: All of ASU's top post-graduate students and staff venture founders.

What: The New Economy Initiative Science and Technology Centers (STCs) fund, among other things, supports Entrepreneurial Fellowships for graduating Ph.D. students, postdocs, and research faculty or staff. The two-year fellowships provide salary support and Core Facility access fees for these folks as they grow a startup based on ASU technology.  STCs are responsible for leveraging ASU-industry partnerships to enable research innovation, entrepreneurship, and tech transfer in areas key to the future of Arizona’s economy.

When: The Deadline is Friday, March 31, 2023, at 5:00 MST

Why: This is a fantastic opportunity for cofounders and provides a pathway for international students to work on their startups for two years after graduation.

Chandler Endeavor

Who: All of ASU's top innovators and entrepreneurs.

What: The City of Chandler, Chandler Chamber of Commerce, and ASU’s J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute are helping local entrepreneurs get access to the resources needed to grow.  Whether you are a small business owner with the ambition to grow your customer base or a startup ready to accelerate, the Chandler Endeavor program can help you make progress and make connections. On April 5th, we launch the series and discuss all things marketing for your business. Access to Chilled Drinking Water in Public Spaces Hackathon & Pitch Competition

Who: All of ASU's top innovators and entrepreneurs looking to make a community impact. 

What: The City of Phoenix and Venture Café Phoenix are teaming up for an exciting Hackathon focused on providing access to chilled drinking water in public places. This Hackathon and Pitch Competition invites students and community members from all over Arizona to come up with innovative solutions. This isn’t a technical challenge but more of a concept development challenge - you will be discussing and “solving” the problem of Public Access to Chilled Drinking Water in Phoenix. With Mayor Kate Gallego and Vice Mayor Yassamin Ansari in attendance, free lunch and snacks provided, and cash prizes up to $700 per person. If you're not interested in hacking but still want to be a part of the action, come watch the Pitch Competition in the evening. You'll get to see participants' cutting-edge solutions presented in front of a panel of judges.

When: Hackathon is April 6th from 11:30 am to 5 pm MST with the Pitch Competition from 5:30 to 7 pm
