95% of the food we consume comes from the soil. Now more than ever we need to protect and nourish the soil to help continue to feed the World's growing population responsibly. Sponsor a deserving classroom with one of our Soil Science Explore Boxes to help bring soils to life in their classroom!

These Soil Science Explore Boxes are geared for grades 7-12.

What's in the box?

Each Soil Science Explore Box contains multiple hands-on educational soil science activities that focus on the importance of soil, plant nutrients and 4R Nutrient Stewardship. Educators receive classroom set of Nutrients for Life resources, lab kits to conduct soil tests for Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium and soil pH. The box also contains a soil probe, water test strips for phosphate, soils from across Canada and case study on 4R Nutrient Stewardship in Africa.

Our soil science explore box will come with a step-by-step guide to set up and run multiple stations to use these resources to engage students on soil science and its importance!

Sponsorship: $500 per box
Tax deductible
No limit to the amount of boxes you can sponsor
Choose to support schools in your local community or be paired up with schools where the need is greatest
Nutrients for Life handles all of the details

Once we receive your sponsorship, an invoice will be emailed to the email address provided within 2-5 business days.

World Water Day!
March 22, 2023

The theme of World Water Day, is “Accelerating Change”. Water, a valued resource, is essential for the health and well-being of all living things: plants, animals, humans. H2Know is a resource that investigates the challenges that face bodies of water. Through this digital case study, High school/Middle years students explore the science about harmful algal blooms and the role farmers are playing through 4R Nutrient Stewardship to greatly reduce nutrients from entering nearby watersheds.
