We are excited to share a new Toolkit of PSS-SEL Distance Education Resources for Teachers!

Psychosocial Support (PSS) and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) remain a priority during the COVID-19 response and recovery, even and especially through quality distance education programs. The members of the INEE PSS-SEL Working Group (formerly the PSS-SEL Collaborative) identified that while there are many tools and resources available for teachers to use with their students and for their own learning and development, it can be challenging to find them and quickly assess their quality.

In response, INEE collected, reviewed, and curated 18 quality tools that have been developed by INEE members and partners for the delivery of learner-centered PSS-SEL through distance education modalities. The resulting toolkit is designed for use by teachers and/or teacher trainers at different levels of education in humanitarian settings. The resources in the toolkit are grouped by type - Capacity Building for Teachers, Guidance & Toolkits, Lesson Plans & Activities - and are labeled by language, modality, and age/stage.

The Toolkit of PSS-SEL Distance Education Resources for Teachers is available in Arabic, English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish.

We hope that this toolkit provides a go-to entry point for any practitioner, especially teachers, and we invite you to download, use, and share it widely. As always, we would love your feedback on our resources. Please get in touch via pss-sel@inee.org with any comments or questions.
