Masjid Clean Up

March 11th | 10:30 am

On Saturday, March 11th, we will have our Ramadan Masjid Clean-up day. This is a great volunteer opportunity to ensure that our beloved masjid is in its best possible condition for the holy month of Ramadan. We'll be cleaning and organizing different areas of the Masjid. Everyone is welcome to join, and we'll provide all the necessary cleaning supplies.

Masjid Decorating

March 18th | 10:30 am

On Saturday, March 18th, we will have our Ramadan Masjid Decorating day. This is a great volunteer opportunity to beautify our masjid and make it more welcoming and inviting for everyone who visits during Ramadan. We'll decorate different areas with colorful banners, artwork, and other decorations. We welcome your creativity and ideas for how we can make our masjid look even more beautiful.

This Ramadan, SALAM will host weekly iftars on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, as well as on Laylat-ul-Qadr. We will also provide suhoors during the last 10 days of Ramadan.

On behalf of SALAM, we pray that you, your family, and our community are able to reap the full benefits of this holy month of Ramadan. May Allah (SWT) amplify our good deeds and grant us mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from the fire.

We are thrilled to welcome you and your family to SALAM this Ramadan.

From nightly Taraweeh prayers and Iftars to Tahajjud and Laylat-ul-Qadr, and the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, we have many opportunities to connect with Allah (SWT) and each other.

We thank Allah for another opportunity to serve our community and look forward to spending this blessed month together.

May this Ramadan be a source of blessings, mercy, and forgiveness for all of us.

Hafiz Adil Khan

Taraweeh Qari

An e-commerce entrepreneur and Hafith-ul-Quran, Hafiz Adil Khan was born and raised in Modesto, CA. He traces his lineage to Uzbek/Tajik, Kabul, Afghanistan, and the villages in Northern Pakistan near Attock. He has been a member of the Greater Phoenix community since 2012.

In 2001, under the tutelage of Sheikh Muhammed Saeed at Darul Uloom Sacramento, Adil memorized the entire Quran by age 15. Since then, he has been performing the completion of the Quran in Taraweeh each Ramadan. In 2016, under the tutelage of the Grand Mufti of Baghdad, Adil gained his Ijazah in the recitation of Hafs An-Asim. Hafiz Adil enjoys listening to various Qura and is passionate about learning and imitating their tones of recitations.

Adurrahman Abdullah

Taraweeh Qari

Hafiz Abdurahman Abdallah graduated from the prestigious Al-Azhar University. He specializes in the ten qiraat and tajweed, mastering the intricacies of reciting the Quran according to the various accepted methods.
