Downtown Events Join Friendly City Co-op for a Composting “Fair” on Saturday, March 11 from 12 - 2 PM. Learn about different composting methods from 3 different experts and celebrate Food Waste Action Week! Great.full Goods is hosting a Baby Plant Adoption Day, Saturday March 11, starting at 10 AM. Each plant is $6 and available until Sold Out! Pale Fire will be hosting WMRA’s Books & Brews Tuesday, March 14 from 7 - 8 PM. Corban Addison will be discussing his book, Wastelands: The True Story of Farm Country on Trial. Join Clementine Cafe for open mic nights every Wednesday at 7 PM. On Wednesday, March 15 the event will be hosted by Cheryl Sule and features the duo Fawley. Arts Incarnate in collaboration with The Tuning Fork and Cross Keys Studios presents Appalachian folk group, Hickory Wind on Saturday, March 18 at 7 PM. Tickets are $10-28 and are available here. The Women’s Artist Showcase will be retuning to Brothers Craft Brewing Sat., March 18 & Sun., March 19. Celebrate local women singer songwriters with an amazing line up of musicians. Come join Boujie Hippie Self-Care Apothecary on Sunday, March 19 from 4 - 6 PM for celebrating Ostara, Spring Equinox. Create a mini altar/door hanger floral besoms, paint eggshell candles, and more. Each participant will receive a small herbal bath-tea as a gift. Join Sage Bird Ciderworks for an Urban Wood Birdhouse Workshop on Wednesday, March 22 at 6 PM. Includes cider! The Foreigner, a comedic play written by Larry Shue and directed by Stephen Winegard, will be opening at Court Square Theater on Thursday, March 23.
