Note from the GENE Director, Dr. Liz Thompson

I know you all have projects and finals coming up. Please make sure you take good care of yourself (and stay dry).

Good luck as you finish up the quarter.

Curriculum, Courses and Advising

If you want to change your major out of GENE, please follow the university processes outlined here: (https://advising.calpoly.edu/change-major). If you are developing an Individualized Course of Study (ICS) for GENE, please file a current ICS form with GENE and at Engineering Student Services. Your academic progress is measured by successful completion of the courses on your ICS form, and your academic progress in turn affects your registration priority. Please make sure your courses are approved before taking them. The ICS form should be filled out electronically using one of the fill-in PDF forms: Current ICS Form / Catalogs Prior to 2022-2026.
