ROUNDTABLE ROUND-UP

Thank you to our community and outreach partner PACT for supporting two successful public roundtables over the past month!

1) Season Planning with Production Leadership

On February 23, Means of Production facilitated a conversation with Nightwood Theatre (Balancing Act ‘21-22 Level UP! Strategy Partner) online via Zoom.

Thank you to panelists Naz Afsahi and Andrea Donaldson (Nightwood Theatre), and Crystal Lee, Laura Philipps and Rebecca Vandevelde (Means of Production) for this excellent discussion about the opportunities for companies to further consider and include production workers in long-term planning - in pursuit of care-centered working environments.
2) Creating a Framework of Care, Successes and Tensions

On March 6, Neworld Theatre (‘21-22 Level UP! Strategy Partner) hosted a conversation with Tara Cheyenne Performance (‘22-23 Level UP! Strategy Partner) in-person at Progress Lab in Vancouver.

Thank you to Alen Dominguez (Neworld Theatre) and Hannah Meyers (Tara Cheyenne Performance) for their discussion about pathways to creating agreements that centre care and to Neworld for hosting the event.
