Borrowdale School will be open today but we will not run the buses because the snow is adding extra risk to the journey. We know that this is not the decision that everyone will agree with, and we are aware of the inconvenience this brings, but it is the safest thing to do. The added responsibility of transporting other people's children in these conditions on a bus is unreasonable and not worth the risk.
So;
- we are open
- there will be no buses today (if the buses can't get to school, we won't have them here this afternoon to transport children home)
- parents are asked to make their own transport arrangements or let us know if they are unable to make the arrangements for their children in which case, your child will stay at home. We understand that the situation is different for each family.
