The Presbytery office will be closed April 7 for Good Friday.

First Presbyterian of DeFuniak Springs will host "Pancakes with the Bunny" this Friday, April 7, at 4 p.m. CDT, featuring a bounce house, petting zoom, egg hunt, craft egg station, face painting, a photo "hop" with Peter Cottontail, and reading of the Easter story. 

Gulf Breeze Presbyterian Church will have a combined Maundy Thursday/Good Friday Service on April 6. The Good Friday Service will be on Facebook Live beginning at approximately 7 p.m. CDT.

► During the most mysterios part of Christ's journey, on Saturday between Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Christ Presbyterian, Tallahassee, invites you to simply breathe and reflect in their Chapel as part of a prayer vigil through the night. There will be Seeking materials, reproductions of Good Friday and Easter art with the artists' reflections, and a variety of prayer books to support your time in prayer. The Prayer Vigil will extend from 8 p.m. EDT (sundown) on April 8 through 6 a.m. on Easter morning, when preparations for the Sunrise service will begin in the Chapel. Call the Church office or sign up in the Narthex for the hour of your choice.


Grace Presbyterian Church, Panama City, will have a special celebration of our Risen Lord on Easter morning. There will be goody bags with special treats for the kids and kids at heart, a hot breakfast at 9 a.m. CDT, Devotion at 9:15 a.m., Easter egg hunt and pictures with the Easter Bunny at 9:30 a.m, and a musical worship service at 10:30 a.m.

First Presbyterian of Chipley will have a Maundy Thursday Service with communion this evening at 5 p.m. CDT.

First Presbyterian of Havana will have a contemporary Maundy Thursday Tenebrae candlelight service at 5 p.m. EDT, focusing on the hours of Jesus' life leading to and including the crucifixion. The service is a reminder of the magnitude of God's love; a love so great that it continues through all time and eternity. The service will feature a dramatic narration of the scriptures, beautiful music by the choir and congregation, and a seven-candle lighting/extinguishing ceremony.

First Presbyterian of Lynn Haven will have a Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service at 5:30 p.m. CDT, to include the celebration of Holy Communion. The members will then gather bright and early at 6:15 a.m. Sunday for the Sunrise Service, to be followed at 10 a.m. by a festive morning worship service celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord.


At First Presbyterian of Tallahassee's supper on Good Friday, attendees will be asked to write a brief statement that begins, "This is what I need to let go, and let Christ take to the cross, that I might be born anew". These writings will be nailed to the cross, and then at Saturday’s Easter Vigil service, they will be put into a bonfire in the Garth. 

Faith Presbyterian, Tallahassee's congregation will gather for an interactive Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m. EDT. The choir will guide the time of worship with meaningful music as participants remember their baptism, share communion, and engage in card-writing, prayer or art. They have been invited to then join Kingdom Life Tabernacle, of Tallahassee, for a worship service Good Friday at 7 p.m. EDT. The service will remember Jesus' seven last sayings on the cross. Celebration of the Risen Christ will follow on Sunday with a 7 a.m. Sunrise Service at St. Paul's Ampitheatre on Lake Ella, continental breakfast at 9 a.m. in Faith Fellowship Hall, and morning worship at10:30 a.m. in Faith's Sanctuary.
