URBAN WILDLIFE GARDENS NEWSLETTER

March 2023

Dear <<First Name>>,

The Working Group has been further bolstered through the addition of Shaun Walsh to our ranks in March of this year.  Shaun is well known locally as a Landscape Architect and gardener, and his professional expertise and insights will provide a terrific resource to the working Group and the Urban Wildlife Garden program generally.

Our next workshop will be given by Shaun on Saturday the 22nd April 2023 at his Black Mountain property and will address the perennial problem of “Where Do I Begin – Starting a Native Garden”

Shaun will give an onsite talk and tour of his Black Mountain property that he purchased 2 years ago as he steps through the decisions and process, he has followed to establish a native garden in an area previously full of exotics and weeds.  Learn from his successes and failures as part of his journey to establish a beautiful cottage and formal garden of local native plants.  Shaun will be focussing on sharing practical information and tips.

The workshop will be from 9am to 11am on Saturday 22nd April at Black Mountain (6 minutes from Cooroy).

Please Note.  Site has partial steep topography and may not be suitable for less abled

To Book RSVP via SMS text to Michelle on 0412 074 103 and the site address will be supplied upon confirmation of registration.
