Volunteer Celebration Gala - Nominations are OPEN 

Volunteer Lethbridge proudly presents the 2023 Servus Volunteer Celebration Gala brought to you by the University of Lethbridge School of Liberal Education.

The community of Lethbridge is invited to nominate individuals or businesses that have demonstrated leadership, inspiration, innovation, impact, and engagement in the community.

Nominations are open March 1-April 15, 2023. Categories include Leaders of Tomorrow, Community Leaders, Lifetime Service, Community Inclusion and Group & Business Community Impact.

Statistics Canada data provides new insight into charitable donations in 2021 

New data shows that total annual reported donations were up by 11.5%, but the number of tax filers reporting donations continued to decrease. Please note that this data only includes receipted donations reported on tax returns.

Nonprofit Vote Town Hall


Friday, April 14, 2023 from 11:30 A/M. - 1:30 P.M.

As we approach a provincial election in May, hear our provincial candidates' priorities for the Nonprofit Sector in Lethbridge and Alberta. Volunteer Lethbridge and The Nonprofit Vote are holding a Community Town Hall whereby each political party in Lethbridge will have the opportunity to discuss their platform priorities for the nonprofit sector, followed by answering questions asked from a facilitator. We would love to see as many Lethbridge community individuals, organizations, and businesses in attendance. If interested, please RSVP through the link in our bio. Space is limited.

Motivational Interviewing Skills
for Health Care Professionals and Other Helpers


This one-day workshop will introduce participants to the core skills of Motivational Interviewing (MI), an
evidence-based approach to counselling and therapy. MI can be a stand-alone counselling approach, or its skills can be used to enhance a variety of mental health interventions, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy.
