Alberta Tech Sector Growth - Easier to Understand from the Inside
Understanding what is happening in the Alberta Tech Sector and Jobs Scene can be confusing if your main sources of information are only standard News Headlines.
Now is a time of seemingly conflicting messages - large international tech companies announcing massive global workforce layoffs, while Alberta's tech sector is experiencing a hiring boom. Also students are experiencing a challenging hiring year - due in part to this cautious economic time for corporates.
So what is the reality for Alberta's Tech Sector? Something to keep in mind - is our exciting demographics: A LARGE employer segment is Small-to-Medium-Sized Businesses. Technology Alberta compiles these companies in our ABTEC5000 listing- shining the light on the vast number of Alberta companies that are actively hiring. They need to hire to achieve their business goals.. and they need people with the mindset of what is "possible" instead of just "what has been done".
So be part of the Possible - attend events and meet these companies in person. Whether at one of the many featured weekly events, or at the upcoming provincial tech sector event of the year - Alberta Innovates Inventures. The future is easier to understand from the inside, so join us!
Yours in Community,
