Dear Praying Friends,
First, we had a wonderful, encouraging trip in the states, thanks to our family, many friends, and supporting churches.  We can hardly express our gratefulness for how refreshed we felt as we prepared to fly back to our home in Tahiti.  Below you can see a sampling of the wonderful fellowship we had with many of you.  Many more are not pictured but just as precious to us.  Your words, your prayers, and your support are all a tremendous encouragement to us.
The day after our late night arrival in Tahiti, we were back teaching our English Clubs.  We had so many children that we ran out of stools and went right out and bought more the next day! Please pray for these children.  They are under serious pressure from the world that they live in, from difficult family situations, poverty, and more. We see this often in their countenances, their moods, and even in the gray hairs on their young heads.  Jesus Christ and His perfect Word is truly their great hope and foundation no matter what is going on in their lives.
There is much more coming our way! Please pray.
1. A team of five women from Village Ministries International will arrive in a little over two weeks, ready to teach and minister to women and children on Tahiti and Moorea.  Please pray for many local women to be moved to attend the several events that we have organized for the two weeks that the team is here.
2. My March 30th meeting with the president of the Assemblies of God, French Polynesia, Eugene Lemaire.  We will be discussing education for their dozen or so pastors and other ways that Evanelia might be a blessing to them.  This is an opportunity for God's Word to have a major impact in the islands.
3. The continuation of our Bible translation project.  We are eager to complete our work on the Gospel of John and Paul's epistle to the Galatians.  Our translation team has many responsibilities and they all work full-time as well.  Pray that they are able to devote time to this critical project.
4. The establishment of Institut Biblique Evanelia (Evanelia Bible Institute).  We believe we are ready to establish a local entity that can serve especially in the area of higher education for pastors.  Having a named organization will be very meaningful for those Tahitians who want to take their biblical education to new levels.  Stay tuned for more on this in the very near future!
5. The further development of our children's ministry.  Just this morning while we were out walking, we ran into a Tahitian lady who teaches ESL in the states, is a Bible-believing Christian, and who may be retiring here soon and interested in helping make Christ known to this next generation.
Please check out our updated website! www.evanelia.org.  It has pictures and videos of ministry, and literary quotes about the islands where we serve!  There will be regular updates as the Lord unfolds our work here, as well as videos of teaching and ministry events, and interviews with the islanders we work with.
