Biography Breakfast

This past Thursday, our 2nd graders treated parents and community to their biography breakfast where they taught us about some very important people. Next up? Interviews in our green screen and sound studio!

Save the Date!

AACA will hold Grandpersons day on Friday, May 19th!  We are excited to welcome grandparents, great uncles or aunts, grand friends, etc. More details to follow!

In addition, to give you as much advance notice as possible, Grandparents day next year will take place on Friday, October 6th.

Kindergarten Summer Bridge Program

This summer Alphonsus Academy will be hosting a Summer Bridge Program for all incoming kindergarten students. We would like to invite your child to join us for this program which will introduce students kindergarten, help them meet other kindergarteners, and get them started on learning the classroom routine from our staff. The Bridge will be held the week of July 17-21. There will be two sessions offered - please sign up for just one. The cost for the week is $200/child. More information will be sent after registration.

Wanted:  Families with Rocket Spirit!

We are looking for volunteers to welcome new families into our school community.  Let's make sure they all get a true Rocket Welcome and feel at home in our community. We're asking mentor families to contact their family a little earlier this year, as soon as they are assigned this spring.

As a mentor we ask that, at a minimum, you make the following contacts with your assigned family:

• Three contacts before school starts - one right away to introduce yourself, one over the summer, and one close to the start of school.

• Two touch points during the first half of the school year to see how things are going.

The time you spend mentoring counts toward your required 20 hours of family service for the year. If you have any questions, please contact Mary Bodlak (Director of Admissions & Marketing).

Tuition Assistance

Economic diversity is valued at AACA. To that end, we offer needs-based tuition assistance to those families who value a Catholic education and need financial assistance to fulfill their tuition commitment. To apply for assistance, FACTS Tuition Management provides an application that should be completed online on the FACTS website. Here is the link to apply. 

To be considered for the 2023-24 school year, the request forms must be filled out completely, including the submission of required documentation, and submitted by April 3. Families will be notified of their award by May 15. After that date, assistance will be allocated based on availability of funds. Financial awards are effective for one school year and families must reapply each year.
