We offer two worship celebrations:
9:00 a.m. – Sanctuary
10:30 a.m. - Worship Center

Using your phone number, worshipers are asked to check in to record their attendance on the iPads prior to entering worship. Sign-in sheets are available for guests or those without a current phone number on file. When worshipping online, please use the “Worship Attendance” tab on the worship page or drop a “Good Morning” post on Facebook and YouTube.

Announces a new Sunday School Class: Adults Online (AOL) Sunday School Class. 11 AM

Considering joining a Sunday School class but you are unable to attend classes in-person? Perhaps you attend in-person church and don’t wish to stay over, or any other reason online Sunday School might work for you, please join our Adults Online (AOL) class. We’d love to have you on our Christian growth journey, at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays. The group is small, which allows everyone an opportunity to participate. The lessons are full of the Word and lots of lively discussion as we share from the regular SS book Echoes. This quarter discussions centers around “Jesus calls us”. TEEN POET LAUREATE CONTEST


Allies for Racial Justice, a partnership between St. James and Resurrection, is sponsoring a poetry competition for High School teens who attend St. James or Resurrection United Methodist churches, either in person or online. The program is now officially open and entries will be accepted until April 21.

Original 21+ line poems can be created on topics around either “Juneteenth” or “Racial Justice”. One Teen Poet Laureate will be selected from each church and will receive $500 for their creative endeavor. Winners will be announced and will present their poem at the ARJ Juneteenth Celebration on June 24. Learn more about the poetry competition and how to participate on the website.

March is almost over, however it is never to late to get your Eye appoint scheduled and plan for colorectal screening. March is Nutrition, Eye Health and Colorectal Awareness month. Materials are available at the Health Ministry table outside of the Narthex.

Strength to Love Study

Wednesdays, Apr. 19 - May 10

Hosted by Resurrection & St. James UMC

Join Resurrection and St James UMC for an exciting opportunity to connect across two congregations in diverse groups of study and conversation. In this 4-week study, participants will be placed in discussion groups over the first four chapters of Martin Luther King Jr’s Strength to Love. St James will host these groups on 4/19 and 5/3, and Resurrection will host on 4/26 and 5/10. All sessions begin at 6:30, and participants should purchase Strength to Love and read chapter 1 before the first session. Our hope is that God will use this opportunity to promote hope, racial awareness, and healing. Register HERE>>>
