Upcoming Half Days and Days Off

Just a reminder that this week we have early dismissal Wed, March 29-Fri, March 30 for report card conferences.
Next week students are off for Spring Break, April 3-7.

More Pi Day Fun!

3rd Grade celebrated Pi day by using their multiplication skills to uncover a hidden “π” symbol. They then created their own “pizza pie” as they applied their knowledge of fractions

Tutoring Opportunities

If you feel like your child is struggling particularly this marking period and want to help them finish the year strong, K-2 District Wide Virtual Tutoring is now available! Email tutoring@philasd.org.

Get pumped up for Field Day 2023!

Spring is fast approaching, Field Day will be May 17th 9am-1pm, at the Hetzel Field!
We are putting a call out for volunteers, sign up here if you’re interested! Or you can stop by Mr. Meile’s office during the March 29th-31st report card conferences to sign up and ask any questions you may have about the event.

Volunteers will be asked to attend an in-person meeting on either May 4th (after school) or May 5th (half day; after school). We will need volunteers to help with multiple aspects including facilitating station activities, distributing food and beverages, and overall supervision.
We are also requesting any old beach towels you may have laying around. To donate contact Samm at (610) 417-8141.

March Events and Activities

Adaire Cares Day is Coming!

Save the date for Saturday morning, April 15th, 9am-12pm, in and around Adaire, for Adaire Cares Day! We'll be organizing a large volunteer effort that will include cleaning, painting, planting, and prepping for the fantastic mural Ben Volta and our kids are bringing to the Adaire front door! Families welcome, there will be work for everyone, and together we'll make the school shine! Rain or shine.
