Fifth Sunday in Lent
Passion Sunday
Collect of the Day
We beseech thee, Almighty God, mercifully to look upon thy people: that by thy great goodness they may be governed and preserved evermore, both in body and soul.
From the Parish Office

Greetings. One of the joys of ministering here has been the good supportive relationships developing between us and our neighbouring church communities at St Barnabas, the Royal Hospital and Holy Trinity, Sloane St, and I personally have greatly appreciated and enjoyed the friendships that have grown up with the clergy of each. One highlight of our relationship with Holy Trinity in recent years has been our joint Palm Blessing rite in the middle of Sloane Square on Palm Sunday and it is a cause of sorrow that, for very good reasons and hopefully for this year only, we will not be able to unite for this act of blessing and joint witness this year. The current redevelopment of Sloane street and the accompanying road works and pedestrian diversions have made it unmanageable, but we send the clergy and people of Holy Trinity our greetings and prayers for Passiontide and Easter as we turn to prepare for our own observance of this most Holy Week. Details as always in Ave!

With all good wishes,

Fr Andrew Walker
Parish Priest
