Each day you strive to improve yourself personally and professionally. However, you may also look out your front door or walk down your street and see societal and governmental issues that you also want to improve...but where do you even begin? The answer is here -- the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council and the time is now.
My fellow Board Members and I want you to know that running for and possibly filling, a board seat on the Greater Toluca Lake Neighborhood Council is more than rewarding and exciting. Taking that first step towards running in an actual public election and the very real possibility of becoming an elected official in the City of Los Angeles can be an experience of a lifetime!
Today, I ask that you consider your path to community leadership and apply to run for a board seat on the GTLNC.
The GTLNC will market all the candidates and election information. You just have to meet the candidate requirements and deadlines --- and that starts with applying as a candidate.
The deadline to apply for candidacy is April 8, 2023, so please apply soon.
