This month of March Madness, Glocal Style, has been a great time to see all that our Household Donation’s team does. There is so much that goes into making a place a home and we are so thankful that here at Glocal, we get to be a small part of that. Nancy and the team of volunteers have been working at a full pace to keep up with the demands of families moving into new places. Many of these families have come recently from Ukraine. It’s heartbreaking to think of how many families have been displaced from that war and many other "hot spots" around the world: Afghanistan, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Burma, Bhutan, etc.

We are so thankful for the numerous donations that were received during this month. From pots and pans to towels to kitchen tools to gift cards and cash. For example this past week, Agency for New Americans asked Glocal for 50 hygiene kits because their supplier was not able to help this month. We were thankful that Nancy and John were able to head to the store to buy the hygiene kit items to help these ANA families. Nancy also shared that one day recently, when they were building 5 household kits, they were out of mops and brooms. On that same day, a person showed up with exactly 5 mops and brooms to fill that need. God is good! The need for household donations is ongoing so please let others know about this as you feel led.

Please pray for the Glocal Board as they continue to help guide and make decisions for Glocal Community Partners. Pray the Lord will lead us to the right people to join our board.
Praise God for the many volunteers we have. They are what makes Glocal what we are.
Pray for this month of Ramadan as our Muslim friends fast and pray. May we as a community be sensitive and encouraging during this time.
