Sunday, April 2nd: Calvary UMC Celebrates its 100th Birthday
 

 

Calvary celebrates its 100th birthday on Palm Sunday, April 2nd and we are planning quite a party. On April 2nd, there will be one combined worship service taking place at 11:00am and featuring a sermon from the new Bishop of the UMC Virginia Conference, Bishop Sue Haupert-Johnson. 

Directly following the service in Harris and Memorial Hall, Calvary will host a wonderful church potluck. For this event we are looking for volunteers to sign up to bring a dish and to help with setting up some fun throwback decorations. To sign up please click here.

While we appreciate your help with the event, bringing a dish is not necessary to attend, this celebration is open to everyone at the church and in the Arlington Community. We are extremely excited for your help in celebrating a century of Faith & Friendship at Calvary.

We look forward to the wonderful work Christ continues to do through our community and to vision together about what the next century in ministry will bring.
