Greetings, St Patrick’s members,
The vestry and I have an announcement for the parish:
Bishop Megan Traquair has received a letter from Canon Mary Goshert stating that her time of healing continues, such that she is not able to continue her ministry here at St Patrick’s. Bishop Megan has responded compassionately, accepting Mary’s resignation and asking me to continue our work here together with you as your Priest-in Charge.
Mary continues to hold us in her prayers, and I know we will too do the same for her. We are sad she is not here with us but we look forward to celebrating her work with us at a future time.
By God’s Grace, the vestry and I were with Bishop Megan today in St. Helena at a vestry conference, and she and Canon Julie will be with us at St. Patrick’s tomorrow, the 5th Sunday of Lent. We are blessed, indeed!
Be assured, our ministries will go on, and with the strong support of the Office of the Bishop and the faithful attention of our vestry, we will grow and thrive. May God bless us all.
