At our rehearsal Monday we welcomed our newest member, Peter Grudberg playing bass trombone. He’s a very experienced player and will be an asset to the trombone section and the band. Peter lives in Quechee, Vermont. Please introduce yourself to him and make him feel welcome.

For those new to rehearsals at HHS: Parking is available along Lebanon St., or in a parking lot just off the street. Enter through the main door, near the flag pole. Go straight through the lobby to the stairway up to the second floor, or take the nearby elevator. Chairs and music stands are abundant in the Band Room.

NOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT
Greetings, UVCB,
As we plan for our next concert, the most likely available venue may be the Mascoma Valley Regional High School's auditorium, located about 20 minutes east of Lebanon on Route 4. The Google Maps location is: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.6482508,-72.1084694,15.92z
When I spoke with their facilities director, the auditorium was available on a couple Sunday afternoons in early June. The manager of facilities in the Dresden district (which includes the Richmond Middle School) has not been able to confirm availability of that auditorium either by email or phone. Both auditoriums are in high demand as their respective school years wind down.
Please think about the Mascoma High School location and your own travel times. I will ask for feedback at Monday’s rehearsal break regarding the distance, and to get a sense of your availability on Sunday, June 4th or Sunday, June 11th (if that date is available).

Help Wanted
As you know, Laura Rubinson is about to resign as a UVCB member and as our Band secretary. She will be missed. We again ask for a volunteer to fill the secretary position for the remainder of this year. It’s been a low key, non-demanding position and I hope one of our members will volunteer to help out.
