Salve,

Thanks to everyone who attended our event for young classicists on Tuesday evening.

For those of you who missed it, we were joined by the London Classicists of Colour, a society led by students based at UCL committed to continuing the education of all classicists in matters surrounding diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Our next meeting will take place at the end of the summer term with more information to follow soon.

In the meantime, there are lots of other ways that you can get involved with The Chorus and Classics for All's charitable work.

I am delighted to share the details of two opportunities below.

Best wishes,
Gussie

Attend our fundraising event (for free!)

On Thursday 27 April (6-7pm), Classics for All will host a lively discussion on ancient Greek tragedy and its enduring influence in the modern age.

What is it about Greek tragedy that fascinates us? Over 2,500 years since the birth of tragedy, the plays of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides continue to hold sway in our cultural imagination. Why are they still performed and what lessons do they have to teach us about life, loss, and the human condition?

This is a hybrid event with opportunities to attend either in person (London) or online (via YouTube).

We are especially keen for Chorus members to attend in person. This event will offer you an exciting opportunity to attend one of our fundraising events and network with our donors.

However, we appreciate that not everyone can get to London and there are plenty of online tickets available, too.

To sign up for a ticket, use the email link below. Please specify which type of ticket (in person or online) you would like in your email.
