Nordic Energy Research has just published the report Coexistence and nature-inclusive design in Nordic offshore wind farms, which focuses on how the energy transition needs to be environmentally and socially viable. The highlights of the report were presented at this year's Energy Week in Vassa.

On May 3-4 Nordic Energy Research is hosting an event within the Nordic Maritime Transport and Energy Research Programme in Malmö. The focus of the conference is decarbonization of the Nordic Maritime Industry, which will be exemplified through the programme's three ongoing projects: HOPE, CAHEMA and AEGIR.

Nordic Energy Research invites all interested parties to participate in the Nordic Energy Challenge 2023 - Energy and Security.
How do we make energy supply chains and energy infrastructures across sectors resilient in a world characterized by high energy prices and geopolitical risks?
We encourage everyone to come up with ideas to solve the challenge of how a strengthened Nordic energy co-operation can combine high environmental ambitions with increased security perspectives through a broad and strong commitment from industry and civil society.
