Guy Kawasaki comes back to help celebrate the 100th episode of the [B]OLDER podcast.

Guy Kawasaki, the Silicon Valley legend, original Apple evangelist, prolific author, and creator/host of the popular Remarkable People podcast, comes back on the show to help us celebrate 100 episodes of [B]OLDER.

Guy is one of my favorite recurring guests and he is always entertaining. He makes me laugh and he makes me think. "That's a high bar for your guests," he says to me at the beginning of this very interesting episode.

"Podcasting is my ikigai" - Guy Kawasaki

Ikigai is a Japanese expression that means "your reason for being, what gives you purpose."

We talk about legacy, aging and old age, podcasting, and why it's so important to him - and more. We also delve into how he is using ChatGPT, the natural language processing tool driven by AI, that everyone is talking about. Essentially, you type a question into the online interface and it responds like a human.

Here are three of the ways Guy is using ChatGPT:

- To write a first draft of a podcast intro for a guest

- To write form letters to an insurance company (he settled his claim favorably!)

- To write the first draft of his new book (based on his podcast). He is using ChatGPT as a more powerful thesaurus and in other ways.

Sam's humorous blog post about San Miguel de Allende: no ice but treacherous sidewalks

You may have heard enough about SMA from me. But if you appreciate my husband Sam Harrington's dry humor , you will enjoy his blog post critiquing our three-week stay there in February.

It's gotten a ton of feedback. He is never "all-positive" so you get the real lowdown from him.
