"How does crowdfunding work?"
- Crowdfunding allows you to pre-order a product, often at a large discount from expected MSRP. Your credit card is charged at the time of pre-order. If the crowdfund meets its pre-order goal within the crowdfund period, then the product moves into production and will begin deliveries at a later date. If the product does not meet its pre-order goal during the crowdfund period, then the purchasers will be fully refunded and the product will not go into production.
"When will I receive my Steady Scope?"
- Deliveries are anticipated to begin August, 2023
"How does Steady Scope work?"
- Steady Scope is a motorized pole mount which is controlled by a micro processor, allowing smooth and accurate control of your transducer. What sets Steady Scope apart is the additional gyroscope that communicates with the microcontroller, allowing active adjustment for heading stabilization.
"Where can I mount Steady Scope to?"
- Steady Scope comes with a bracket allowing it to accept popular ball and socket mounts. We plan to make brackets available in our store for the “big three” trolling motors if the crowdfunding goal is met and Steady Scope moves into production.
"Where will Steady Scope be made?"
- Steady Scope has been designed at FirstBuild and will be assembled at FirstBuild in Louisville, Kentucky.
"What else has FirstBuild delivered"
- FirstBuild has launched almost 100 products/features and has been in business since 2014. FirstBuild is backed by GE Appliances, a Haier Company.
