2023 World Supported Employment Conference: Inclusion Works!

This year, we are joining the Canadian Association for Supported Employment (CASE) for Inclusion Works!

Join people from around the world for the 2nd World Supported Employment Conference, held in person at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, in British Columbia!

Inclusion BC will be presenting in two sessions at the conference. One about advancing in a career as a person with a disability, and another about sharing stories of lived experiences, success, and life and the power of stories to create change.

Calling All Artists!

Inclusion Works! wants to showcase the amazing artists within our communities with an art contest for the conference.

Up to two winners will have their artwork featured at the conference, receive a $250 honorarium, have the opportunity to be part of the entrepreneur’s marketplace during the conference in Vancouver, BC, and more!

To enter, please email a photo of your art piece along with a short paragraph (80-120 words) introducing yourself and your work. They want to get to know you and the role that art plays in your life.

This contest is open to artists with disabilities.

Nominations for Awards

Nominations are now open for the CASE 2023 Awards!

Nominate yourself, your business, or anyone you know that has done great things for inclusion in the workplace and for inclusive employment in your community.

There's three different awards to be won this year:

Wiltshire Award of Excellence in Supported Employment
Mark Wafer Award for Business Excellence
Phillip Emmerson Award for Employment Excellence

Please submit your nominations by April 30, 2023.

Scholarships

Inclusion BC has seven scholarships available to support people to attend Inclusion Works!

People who have not received a scholarship from Inclusion BC in the past five years will receive priority.

Please submit your application to Inclusion BC by April 28, 2023.
