New Tableau Dashboards

ICARE Dashboard

The Longitudinal Immigration Database ICARE Dashboard presents data from the IMDB ICARE tables T1 and T2 in a series of interactive charts. Data on immigrant taxfiler mobility and economic outcomes are compared with settlement service delivery, admission categories and world areas of birth. The dashboard includes time series showing data on immigrant taxfiler landing groups over time, and charts showing data for individual tax years.

Village of 100 Dashboard, 2021
This interactive Tableau dashboard presents a selection of census indicators for a chosen geography, as if it were a village of 100 people. This is a new version of the previous Village of 100 Dashboard, updated with 2021 Census data.

Update on Custom Geographies

2021 Census tables at Custom Geographies
Statistics Canada is optimistic that they can run tables for our custom geographies in April. We still do not have an estimated arrival date, but we expect to receive tables by late April or early May.

The first tables we will receive on custom geographies will be:

After that, we will start running Target Group Profiles on custom geographies.

Update on Semi-Custom Tables from the
2021 Census

The CDP receives new data products on a regular basis. New tables are added to our online data catalogue, but here are a few highlights:

The following four semi-custom 2021 Census tables are now available in the catalogue:

Target Group Profiles

We have started receiving Target Group Profiles (TGP) and should continue to receive more over the next few months. The following TGPs should be available in the catalogue shortly:
  • TGP of the Aboriginal identity population
  • TGP by immigrant and citizenship status

In the coming months, it is expected that the CDP will receive many more custom and semi-custom tables. Check our website to stay up to date!

Ask a Community Data Expert

We invite CDP users to contact us with their data questions. These can go beyond basic questions on finding and opening data products. We understand that many users do not have the capacity to work with our catalogue or make use of Beyond 2020 and IVT files. Where we can we will do our best to provide you with a data table in Excel format for the geographies and indicators you need.
