“What I had to learn for my life and ultimately my work was that the universe is always conspiring for our highest good, whether we understand it in the moment or not. You must allow yourself to feel the loss as part of your journey, not as a destination. Let it flow through you in order to steward you to where you were meant to be.”
Sade Lythcott, CEO the National Black Theatre

May the gift of these earned wisdoms bless you in your life, in your work, in your dreams. May you continue to connect and be connected to the multicolored yarns being spun in your time, of our time, by our time. The Great Web, the eternal weaving is there to catch you and always there to guide you toward LOVE. ❤️ Coco

Four letters and one way forward

Choose ease.

I know no better way to breathe.

Choose ease.

Cuz' hustle culture is a vulture.

Choose ease.

Cuz' we're still writing the levity of our ancestors wildest dreams.

Be free.

Rinse and repeat.

Choose ease.

Choose ease.

Choose ease.

On the blog, a 3-minute view of me choosing ease and how its fueling my legacy.

NEW POST: Surrendering with ease in mind

Unmasking and staying true to self

For 21 days in a row, Dora Kamau’s meditation Free to Be You spoke to me. How often do we spend our lives believing and being someone we’re not? How often do we wear a mask to be liked, loved, and wanted?

Free to be you meditation: words by meditation wellness coach Dora Kamau: "For many of us, we spend our lives living or being someone or something other than who we are in order to be loved, respected, and chosen."

I made an Instagram reel quoting Dora’s work paired with “Shining Through (True Colors) by Fredro. She thanked me for creating it. I thanked her for being an inspiration. It’s the little big moments that remind me I’m right where I need to be.

If you don’t have Instagram, this was my caption:

It takes courage.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Rather, courage is sometimes the kid glove, a warm blanket covering, perhaps comforting fear that says "go...do it... be it anyway"

Marianne Williamson said: "Our deepest fear is not that we’re inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It’s our light, not our darkness, that most scares us”

What's to hide about the someone or somebody you want to be? What's it to you or anyone else?

To be infinitely you is a power tool. Have the audacity to be you.

Continue to rise dear ones. Rise with rest, wonder, and the audacity to simply be you.
