Pemetic Families!

The school sign fundraiser is in its final week next week.  If your child has sold tickets, please return the money & ticket stubs to the front office.   If you would like more tickets, please stop by the office to pick up more to sell.  Thank you to everyone for helping make this happen.  We are so excited to be adding a sign for the front of the school that will display messages from the school so we can keep the community informed of what is happening here at Pemetic.

The Harbor House Shootout took place at Pemetic this past weekend.  The Pemetic PTO provided concessions and wanted to thank all who supported their efforts.

As a reminder, those who have a child ready to enroll for PreK, April 7th is the screening day.  Please contact the front office to get on the schedule.

This past week, a meeting was held for parents and students to discuss the upcoming softball and baseball season.  If you missed the meeting, please contact Steve Snurkowski to discuss your next steps.

March 31st is an early release day.  Students are dismissed at 12:30.

Spring is right around the corner!

Have a great weekend!!

Dr Christine Gray

Free Smoke Detectors from the Red Cross

Home fires claim seven lives every day in the U.S. – but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half. That’s why the American Red Cross of Northern New England is offering a free smoke alarm installation event on Saturday, April 1 in the Camden, Rockland and Rockport areas.

To schedule an appointment, you can visit redcross.org/EndHomeFiresNNE or call 800-464-6692 (option 4). During the home visit, Red Cross volunteers, community partners and local fire departments will also share information on the causes of home fires, how to prevent them, what to do if a fire starts and how to create an escape plan.

If you live outside the Camden, Rockland and Rockport area you can use the same website and phone number to request an install and a Red Cross volunteer will contact you about scheduling. This program, called Sound the Alarm, is part of the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign, a year-round initiative to reduce home fire-related deaths and injuries. Locally, the Red Cross has installed 17,638 free smoke alarms and made 5,593 households safer across Maine since 2014
